Studio Wildcard has done an extremely good job so far in the two years ARK had been in early access, constantly adding more features to the game. The game now have more than 100 creatures, more than 500 engrams to be learnt, as well as 4 “ARKs” or maps to survive in. Millions of ARK players had joined in their journey, helping to test the game, building gigantic bases, captured and trained armies of dinosaurs, crafted armories full of weapons, and eaten billions of pounds of berries. The game is now ready for release to the world at large.
ARK : Survival Evolved hits stores on 8th August,2017 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC worldwide. Even more new content is planned to be coming, in the form of additional gameplay elements, creatures and even story elements!
For the consoles, players can pre-order the game for $59.99 for the base game with all DLCs, The Explorer’s Edition costs $99.99 and includes a Seasons Pass, which grants immediate access to Scorched Earth as well as all future DLCs which will be launching later this year and into 2018. The Limited Collector’s Edition ,with a cost of $159.99, is every survivor’s wet dream, offering a plethora of real world content along with the game. This includes :
1) A handcrafted leather-bound Explorer’s Notebook, featuring the Dossiers of all in-game creatures,
2) A cloth map of the ARK Island,
3) A poster of the Studio Wildcard development team,
4) An official ARK necklace,
5) The official ARK : Survival Evolved soundtrack, recorded live at Abbey Road with the Philharmonia Orchestra
Based on demand, the individual items of the package will be manufactured and sold separately by Studio Wildcard. As of now, the only way to get the collectibles is acquiring the Limited Collector’s Edition of the game.
