Apex Legends, the hot new entry in the Battle Royale genre from none other than Respawn Entertainment, the guys who made Titanfall, have crossed a player threshold of 10 million players, with a concurrent player count of 1 million players. There is,however, no data to suggest how individual platforms have contributed to this huge player count.
Vince Campella, the CEO of Respawn Entertainment, has officially taken to Twitter to thank the playerbase for “giving Apex Legends a chance”.

“This has been a truly incredible journey. We tested and tweaked. We argued and agreed. We got to a point where we felt some magic. We knew it would be risky to take the franchise in this direction, to go free to play, and do a surprise launch. But we fell in love with Apex Legends and wanted, needed, other people to play it too.” she comments.
Apex Legends has indeed received a warm reception, being played by players who haven’t tried out the Battle Royale genre before. The Indian Noob team themselves have been overwhelmed, scurrying to squeeze in one or two games in their free time.
