WWE 2K15 has been delayed on PS4 and Xbox One to November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe, 2K has announced.
The next-gen installment in the popular franchise was originally expected on October 28 in North America and October 31 in Europe. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will still launch on those dates.
“Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles,” said Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas, President. “The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”
WWE 2K15 will be the second WWE game published by 2K, after THQ was dissolved a couple of years ago. John Cena is the cover athlete for the annual wrestling game franchise this time, with a special Pre-Order edition offering Sting (yes the one and only Sting) in his different avatars as pre-order bonus.
As a side note, Wade Barrett, now better known as Bad-News Barett will be in Mumbai on September 19th promoting the game; and if you want to meet him, we can work something out.
WWE is to the IndianNoob, what FIFA and COD is to the rest of the world. Its more of the same stuff every year, but I buy it anyways. What do you make of the WWE game, and the current state of WWE in general. Do you enjoy the PG era? Did you enjoy Cena-Lesnar? Who is the next big thing. Sound off in the comments.
