On August 9, Hello Games released their highly ambitious (I’ve been repeating this word almost on every post, ’cause c’mon man it is “ambitious”, right?) space exploration (and survival) game, No Man’s Sky on PS4. Whereas PC players have to wait until August 12 due to a recent delay.

When everybody out there is getting their hands on No Man’s Sky (on PS4), we, here in India, still struggling to do the same. We still haven’t got our review copy yet (by the way we’re not expecting an one) and it seems like we’ve to buy one for ourselves.

Although, Games The Shop, India’s leading games retailer, has opened up their pre-order page for No Man’s Sky PS4 version now (?). And the expected release date, August 12 2016.

Yep! For PS4 version. I don’t know what the heck is going on with the retailers here. It was supposed to be get released by 9th on the PS4. When I asked them about this, they told me that their so called supplier has “informed” them that “the game will be available on 13th August 2016.”

And to make this even more clear to you let me tell you who’s the publisher of the game – No Man’s Sky has been published by Sony. Yes, they are those guys who published Uncharted 4 and we’re already aware what they’ve done with uncharted 4 deliveries…so…it all seems pretty..uh…normal now. God knows what’s going on with them.

It should be noted that No Man’s Sky is available through Digital Order on the PlayStation Store and ready to play right now.

Apart from all this, I was, in fact, expecting an August 13 release date for PC (digital only), as Hello Games has delayed it earlier to August 12 so the release on next day – August 13 – in India is obvious. However, they’re taking pre-orders for PS4 version of the game which was due yesterday!

What the hell!
