As part of their aggressive marketing strategy, Epic games has been giving away one game per month to the people who install the Epic Games Launcher. After giving away Subnautica and Super Meat Boy, Epic has announced that the next game to hit the free lineup is What Remains of Edith Finch.
The Epic Games Store will have What Remains of Edith Finch available for free starting January 10, 2019, until January 25, 2019.
What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she’s the last one in her family left alive. It’s a game that touches on a lot of subjects: death, family, stories and what we leave behind, but more than anything it’s a game about the unknown, about exploring something with no idea of what you’re going to find. This makes the game a little hard to describe because the more I tell you about it, the less it’s going to surprise you.
