Ubisoft today announced that the recruitment drive for the new Ubisoft Mumbai studio will expand this month to Hyderabad and Delhi.
Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced the opening of a new studio in India, growing on the success of the established studio in Pune. Ubisoft Mumbai which officially opens later this year, will focus on collaborating on AAA game development with Ubisoft worldwide studios and live operations.
Ubisoft Mumbai is running an ambitious recruitment drive across India. We are looking for Programmers, Artists, Designers and experts with Automation and Live Operations background.

Below is a precise interview done with Samira Chabani, HR Director Ubisoft Pune and Mumbai to give you an overview of Ubisoft India strategy, culture, value and challenges within the group.

WHAT PROFILES ARE Ubisoft LOOKING FOR?
ART:
We are looking for future leaders who can at the beginning of their career, grow as producers or project managers. We are looking for profiles in 3D Art, Character Art, Level & technical Art and Animation. Specialized profiles in graphics and animation and mastering software 3Ds Max, Motion Builder are sought. Future graphic designers specializing in decor, lights or special effects are a great resource in our Industry.
PROGRAMMING:
In the field of programming field, we are looking for skills on Engine, Online, Tools, Gameplay, and 3D Programmers. We focus on technical skill set and thus applicants should be well versed with C ++ in particular.
DESIGNING:
As for design professions, we do not have any diploma or level of study requirements. Candidates who have received training in a school specialized in video games could be an advantage. What prevails in the choice of the candidate is his/her creativity.
LIVE OPERATIONS AND AUTOMATION:
We will also reinforce live operations and automation skillsets, which will create positions of Data Scientist, Product Development, Marketing and Community Management

Background in engineering or art schools with strong soft skills and coordination. We expect our employees to be versatile and be able to work in global teams. Eventually, you must obviously be a video game enthusiast. We pay attention to skills, potential, and motivations of the candidates.
