Fruitbat Factory in cooperation with TOKYOTOON have announced that “The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart“, one of the most loved recent visual novels in Japan, is now available on Steam worldwide!
The game initially came out in Japan in 2016, and then received an anime adaptation in 2017, followed by the releases of related merchandise such as a manga series, music CDs, etc. The game has been collecting worldwide attention by appearing in numerous game/anime events held not only in Japan, but also in other countries.
The Steam version of the game supports English and Japanese languages, and Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese will be added soon as well. It can be played with a simultaneous text display in 2 languages of player’s choice.
The game is now available along with a digital artbook, an OST, a vocal song album and the full TV anime, each of which expands the game’s story. They can be bought together in The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart – Stray Cat Bundle for a further -20% discount.
About “The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart”
The visual novel was originally released in Japan in 2016, under the Japanese title of “Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart”, or “Noratoto” in short. It gained huge popularity on account of its multiple-ending story full of witty dialogue between the charming heroines, the protagonist Nora who has been turned into a black cat, and many other characters. In 2017, an anime adaptation for the game was aired throughout Japan and worldwide via Crunchyroll, and the sequel to the game, “The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart 2,” was awarded as the users’ favorite visual novel in the Moe Game Award 2017, and went on to become the best-selling visual novel in Japan. The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart has also been released in Japan on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
