The Long Dark’s first season, Wintermute, has been officially released on Steam from Early Access. It is also releasing for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
The game features a story mode, where one can discover the grim story of a post-apocalyptic setting in a world without electricity, or just play the modes of Sandbox, where you have no set challenges, and all you have to do is survive at all costs. Survival mode is just Sandbox mode, with harsher environment and more limited survival options.
