It has been just 2 days since lauch and The Last of Us Part 2 is already smashing records. As revealed by GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring on Twitter, it has the biggest launch for a video game in the UK this year, beating even Animal Crossing: New Horizons by far. The Last of Us Part 2 has also become Sony’s fastest selling PS4 game ever in the UK, exceeding the launch sales of the likes of Uncharted 4, God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

The Last of Us Part 2 is comfortably bigger than its PS3 predecessor, with launch sales 76% higher.
