We reviewed Rebellion’s pulpy co-op shooter Strange Brigade last week and liked it well enough to give it a solid 8 out of 10. The developers outlined a bunch of both free and paid content heading in the way of Strange Brigade pre-launch. Now, Rebellion has revealed some details regarding the game’s first major content update, coming this month.

One portion of the upcoming update will be made available free to all those who have purchased the game, while the other will remain locked behind Strange Brigade’s Season Pass. The paid part of the update adds the cowboy/gold-hunting daredevil Patrick ‘Bash’ Conaghan (and his Electric Wave Amulet), while the free portion adds three new score attack missions and a horde mode map to the game.

The update is set to arrive on September 11 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
