Stardew Valley is a pretty fun game in itself. You’re planning every day in advance, trying to develop a big farm, rearing animals, keeping in contact with the people in the village, trying to develop a living relationship with people of the other sex, or simply killing monsters in the mines. Even then, it’s sometimes tough to do everything, giving the limited amount of energy you have, especially when you get a whole lot of stuff to do! That’s when friends come in handy, and apparently, ConcernedApe, the creator of Stardew Valley, realizes that too!
In a tweet, ConcernedApe showed a screenshot of 4 people playing together on LAN, stating the work on the netcode is almost complete.
4-player Stardew Valley LAN party at my house… it's really fun. It still needs some work, but the underlying network code is solid. Being in the same room and yelling at each other about what to do next, or if anyone has any stone, is great fun. Can't wait to share this pic.twitter.com/Sjxyd712BK

Does this mean that we get to play Stardew Valley with our friends soon?
