It’s High time that game developers to stop using Denuvo Anti Tamper for their games as hackers have learned how to crack it in a matter of short time, As Square Enix has recently launched the 2nd Episode of Life is Strange:Before The Storm , and the surprising thing was they had removed Denuvo’s Anti-Tamper Tech.

Square Enix has used Denuvo in pretty much all of its latest titles, and this is perhaps the only one for which Denuvo has been removed. Some of Square Enix’s games that use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech are: Just Cause 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider and NieR Automata. As said, this is the only game for which Square Enix removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Although we don’t know or even confirm that whether Denuvo was removed with intentions to prevent piracy or not . In the past we’ve seen developers and publishers releasing – by mistake – patches without the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Most of them are usually quick to react and release hotfixes that re-introduce Denuvo. As such, it remains to be seen whether this is a similar case or not.
