Beamdog, the studio behind remasters of classic 90’s rpgs like Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape:Torment will be sending out keys for a Steam beta of their upcoming remaster, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition this week.

Company CEO Trent Oster and studio director Phillip Daigle made the announcement during a livestream Friday, which also covered updates on other Beamdog projects such as localization for several already-released titles. The Steam beta will run alongside the ‘head start’ edition that preorder customers are already playing.

Invitations to the beta are limited however, and to you’ll have to go through Beamdog’s official Discord server to obtain one.

Neverwinter Nights:Enhanced Edition is the remaster of Bioware’s bestselling Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game from 2002. Enhanced Edition combines all the content of Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition with all-new enhanced features such as restored multiplayer, mod support and updated visuals. The game will release sometime this year for Windows macOS and Linux.
