Fortnite will be getting special Valentine’s Day cheer in the form of a special event from Epic Games called the ‘Share the Love’ event from February 8 until February 27. The event will award special challenges and rewards from Feburary 8 to February 27.
Players can enter a special creator code in game to receive a free Cuddle Hearts wrap. You can enter the code in the Item Shop to support a content creator of your choice. Players who have already entered their codes don’t need to do anything extra. The wrap will be added to the inventory once the update v7.40 releases. The full list of content creators can be found here.
For anyone who has already completed the 10 weekly challenges, extra Overtime challenges will be added. Completion of these challenges by the end of Season 5 unlock new rewards, which include the Valentine Wrap and Vines Contrail.
Battle Pass owners can unlock new styles for the Trog, Powder and Onesie suits. Besides that, a weekend XP boost will be active for the duration of the event, allowing players to level up their Pass before the end of the season.
Fortnite Creative will get a rotating set of Featured Islands to celebrate the might of all community creators. The Features Island Frenzy runs on from February 12 to February 22.
For the competitive folks, the “Share the Love” competitive series will be having several placement matches on the weekend on February 9 and February 10. New tournament features will be arriving with the v7.40 update, with a few of them being used in these placement matches. There are four divisions – Open Division, Prospect Division, Contender Division and Champion Division. Players will unlock the next division by earning a pin during any daily session. Players who manage to earn a pin during a Champion Division session will get to participate in the Champion Division Finals to take place on February 23 and 24.
This is the best time to dive in to the game and celebrate love with the special one. A special “Duo” only mode for couples could be lacking, but those cosmetic rewards sure look cool!
