THQ Nordic has announced that Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered Edition will release on July 3rd. The remastered version will be available for free to all Steam owners of the original game.
Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered will feature fully reworked graphics, higher resoltution textures and enhanced graphic features including specular maps, improved shadow rendering, improved Lighting and shader & postprocessing rework and native 4K support to have the crispiest time on the red planet.

Red Faction: Guerrilla released in 2009 is an open world action adventure game and the third in the titular series. The game uses Geomod 2.0 engine which allows for buildings, cover, and other structures to be destroyed and encourages creative gameplay. The remastered version is also coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
