Dark Light

The latest Nintendo Direct centered around Pokemon is over and here are the details:

  1. Pokken Tournament Deluxe Headed To Switch:

Originally for the Wii U, this Pokemon fighting game by Bandai Namco is getting an enhanced port for the Switch. Five new characters have been added to the roster – Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk and Decidueye – and there will also be ranked matches, friend matches  and group matches (3v3). It will release on Sept 22 of this year.

2. Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon For 3DS:

I don’t think anyone was expecting this, at least not for the 3DS anyways. Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon are sequels to Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon which were for the 3DS as well. Similar to Black 2 and White 2 on the DS, they will feature a new story and brand new Pokemon. The games are set to release on Nov 17.

3. Pokemon Gold & Silver Announced For 3DS Virtual Console:

The Gameboy Color classics are headed to the 3DS’ Virtual Console library and will be available for purchase on the same day as Pokken Tournament Deluxe. They will also be compatible with the Pokemon Bank feature for the 3DS so that players can transfer their Pokemon to the 3DS Pokemon games.

What do you think of these announcements? Are you hyped for any of these games? Let us know in the comments.
