PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is proving to be very profitable to the developers of the game. It surpasses everyone’s expectations including that of the developer’s itself.

Well, the game has sold over an insane 7 million units till now and has a concurrent players peak of 617k, according to SteamSpy.

Bluehole, developers of the game, launched the game on Steam Early Access in April and it has since generated revenue of over $209 million.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will launch on Microsoft’s Xbox One Game Preview program before the end of the year, excluding cross-platform play feature though.

Seeing these impressing and totally insane numbers Bluehole seems to be supporting the game for year to come. In fact,, Brandon, better known as the titular PlayerUnknown, recently said that Bluehole plans to support the game for ten years or so.
