Obsidian Entertainment’s highly anticipated crpg Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is now available for pre-load on Steam. Deadfire, sequel to their crowdfunding success project Pillars of Eternity will release on 8th May, 2018, this Tuesday.
Revealed by Aarik “Moobs” Dorobiala via Twitter, precise launch for Deadfire will take place on the 8th of May at 10:00 AM PDT, which means late afternoon or early evening for Europe, and release will slip over to May 9th local time for Asia. As GoG does not support preloading, this option will not be available to players who own the game on that platform, however release times apply to all platforms.
People who backed Deadfire via Fig have had access to playable alpha and beta builds throughout the development process, and their feedback was used to tweak the gameplay as well as squash game-breaking bugs.
