People Can Fly, the polish developing house renowned for their works in the first person shooter genre, particularly Painkiller and Bulletstorm announced the continuation of its ongoing expansion plans with the opening of its fourth studio in North America
The new entity is known as People Can Fly New York and brings the total number of staff to over 200 across sites in Poland, the US and the UK. Established in 2002, People Can Fly, is currently developing a yet-to-be-announced AAA project with Square Enix.
Led by Studio Head, David Grijns and Executive Producer, Roland Lesterlin, People Can Fly New York is composed of approximately 30 highly talented developers from major studios including Avalanche, Activision Blizzard, Ninja Theory and Eidos Montreal. The management team previously co-founded Avalanche Studios New York and Defiant Studios in 2011 and 2016 respectively.
