If you didn’t have enough of leading big civilizations to victory in the steps of some of the biggest leaders, then prepare to do it again, in the feet of a new civilization, an ancient one this time, as you recreate history itself as Amanitore, the leader of Nubia.
Civilization VI gets a new DLC which adds a new civilization, a new scenario and a new wonder. The Nubian civilization focuses on ranged combat, which is seen in both the special unit as well as the special passive ability of the civilization. All ranged units gain production, meaning they take lesser time to produce. The civilians of Nubians, miners by profession, give bonus production of strategic resources from mines, as well as extra gold from luxury resources. The civilization unique unit is the Pitati Archer, which is a stronger and faster Ancient Era Archer. Amanhitore’s special ability grants Nubia bonus production towards building districts, which increases in the presence of a Nubian Pyramid adjacent to the City Center. The Nubian Pyramid can be built on Desert, Desert Hills, or Floodplains, and provides Faith, as well as additional yields based on the adjacent District, or Food for the City Center.
Also the new Scenario is the “Gift Of The Nile”, where you choose Nubia or Egypt and compete against the other civilization to be the first to complete 7 Temples to Amun along the banks of the Nile. The scenario has new rules and unique gameplay, with the Nile river being navigable by naval units. The game ends at 125 turns, and the civilization that has the greatest progress automatically wins.
The new DLC also adds a new wonder called Jebel Barkal. This Wonder provides extra Faith to all nearby Cities, and must be built on Desert Hills.
You can purchase Civilization VI at a discount of 33% off Steam Retail Price along with the DLC to master the ancient world as one of the civilizations living in the shadow of the Nile, yet emerging greater than most other civilizations of today.
