GDC 2017 is right around the corner and NVIDIA is getting ready to help game developers push the limits of their creations. Great hardware needs great content, so we focus an enormous amount of their resources on making games better and providing developers tools to create them with. All those efforts it will be on display at GDC 2017.
NVIDIA will be on hand in booth #824 and will have 16 sponsored sessions that focus on AI/Deep Learning in game development, graphics, compute, and VR.
AI and deep learning are revolutionizing modern computing, and NVIDIA is bringing them to game development.
NVIDIA GDC 2017 sessions for Deep Learning include:
- Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 AM | Introduction to Deep Learning
- Wednesday, 11:00-12:00 PM | Zoom, Enhance, Synthesize! Magic Image Upscaling and Material Synthesis using Deep Learning

In addition to developer tools and resources, they’ve created a dedicated team of more than 300 graphics and physics engineers who create and deploy cutting-edge gaming technologies. Their visual effects engineers perform graphics research and create libraries, developer tools, research papers, source code samples; while working closely with game developers to enhance their games. They then work with them on cross-platform SDKs, libraries and tools to extend the PC experience to other platforms.
