NODWIN Gaming, a key player in the esports landscape in India is partnering with the global giants in gaming, Tencent Games as the broadcasting partner for the grand finals of PUBG MOBILE India Series 2019.

The single largest publisher organized tournament of PUBG MOBILE in the country is hosting the grand finals of PUBG MOBILE India Series, set to take place on March 10 at the G.M.C Balayogi Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

Tencent Games India is making huge strides with the wide popularity of PUBG MOBILE in the country and also relishing the 30 million+ daily active users worldwide for the game. IN 2018, they went a step ahead and hosted the PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship in India for a massive prize pool of 50 lakhs INR (Approx 72K USD) exclusively for college students. The stakes and prizes are doubling this time, with 1 crore prize pool (Approx 145K USD) on the line AND the tournament has been made open to all! OPPO stays as the title sponsors for the tournament.

NODWIN Gaming will be managing the broadcast of the grand finals and will be managing all the live streams and content programming. With immense expertise from streaming national and global esports events over the past 5 years, NODWIN Gaming boasts of a polished team to execute live broadcasts for LAN events.

The tournament held in-game qualifiers for all Indian citizens holding a PUBG MOBILE account of level 20 and above. Erangel and Sanhok will be the two maps on which matches will be played throughout the finale. With registrations over 575,000 participants for the online qualifiers shows us a glimpse of the gigantic player base and reach of the game.

80 squads made it to the semifinals and 20 of them fought their way to the finale. The finals will be a series of best of 5 matches, the top 10 on the leaderboard will be awarded prize money with the champions taking home 30 lakhs INR and OPPO phones for all the finalists.

The rise of PUBG MOBILE and battle royale genre has leveraged competitive gaming in India in a big way. Mobile gaming just ran past traditional gaming in terms of popularity, owing it to the ever-growing smartphone industry and a young and tech-savvy population.
