Dark Light

So the rumors were true. Nintendo Switch Lite was indeed in the works and the company made it official today. The Nintendo Switch Lite is a cut down version of the original switch, offering a handheld only mode. You dont get the detachable joycons and motion controls, no HD rumble,  and TV connectivity. The screen is  also smaller with a size of 5.5 inches as compared to the original 6.2 inches.

Moving on the good aspects now, the Switch Lite offers a bit better battery life than the original switch. On paper, it’s about half an hour of more battery life as compared to the Switch. Nintendo also adds that you’ll be able to play Zelda for four hours instead of three, indicating that the battery has indeed got some buff. The resolution is the same, but the smaller screen size means you’ll witness sharper visuals, thanks to the increased pixel density. Finally, the Switch Lite will weigh 0.27 pounds lesser than the original Switch making it substantially lighter.Rest is pretty much the same. Apart from the games which need HD Rumble and IR motion camera, you’ll be able to play all the games available for the Switch. You’ll also be able to add the joycons if you want, however you won’t be able to charge them with the Switch Lite. Finally, the Switch Lite comes at a price of 200$, which is one-third lesser than the Swtich’s price.
