On their official Twitter, Nintendo Of America recently detailed their plans for E3 2017 which is as follows:

  • Starting from June 13, 9 AM PT/12 PM ET, Nintendo will kick off their Nintendo Spotlight event to showcase upcoming Switch games including Super Mario Odyssey.
  • Soon after the Spotlight, the Treehouse livestream will begin which provides an in-depth look at gameplay for E3 game highlights (for both Switch and 3DS), with developers on board as well, live from the E3 showfloor; the Treehouse ends on the 15th which is the last day of E3.
  • During the first two days, Nintendo will also host Splatoon 2 and ARMS tournaments at E3. All of these events can be watched on Nintendo’s official Twitch and YouTube channels as well.

This is the third year in a row where Nintendo has opted for their Treehouse streams rather than a traditional E3 stage conference, but they still have a huge chunk of E3 floor space reserved for their game booths (second largest reservation on the show floor, to be precise, after Sony). Games like Super Mario Odyssey, ARMS and Splatoon 2 are confirmed to be playable at the event.
