Nier Automata, the game that isn’t about flapping panties on female androids, has officially sold more than 3.5 million copies. The announcement was made on Twitter by the official handle for the game.

Nier Automata had surpassed 3 million units in terms of sales in June shortly before the release on the Xbox One. Another 500,000 seems to have shipped in the 6 months after the release in June on the Xbox. The game performed really well, and Square Enix should be pleased about it.
