Dark Light

Launch day for the Nintendo Switch is just around the corner and three more games have been confirmed to release alongside the console:

  1.  Fast RMX

This is an enhanced port of the Wii U exclusive sci-fi racer Fast Racing NEO . It features all content from the Wii U version (including the NEO Future Pack DLC) plus new tracks and vehicles and will run at a full 1080p 60 FPS. The game will also make use of the Switch’s unique HD Rumble feature.

2. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove & Specter Of Torment DLC

Yacht Club Game’s Shovel Knight is returning to the Switch under as “Treasure Trove” and is a bundle consisting of the base game, the Plague Of Shadows DLC and the upcoming Specter Of Torment DLC, which can also be bought separately. Both Treasure Trove and Specter Of Torment will be timed exclusives for the Switch.

3. Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together!

A unique and charming couch co-op puzzle game by Nintendo and British indie dev SFB Games, it has two or more players cooperating with each other to cut out parts of their partner inorder to achieve the level objective. It’s a brand new IP from Nintendo developed in conjunction with the lesser known indie studio and its adorable paper-esque aesthetic and hilarious co-op oppurtunities make it a must buy for the system.

Nintendo have also confirmed that the eShop will be up and running on the first day itself, however users will need to  perform a system update. Unfortunately the Virtual Console (Nintendo’s online service that allows users to download select retro games from their older systems), will not be available at launch. This will certainly disappoint some buyers but with Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild (and a handful of other games) at launch players are guaranteed to be busy for a while.
