During Microsoft’s “Exclusive World Premier” gamescom event they announced their extended partnership with PlayerUnknown’s Battleground developers, Bluehole.
Microsoft will be publishing PlayerUnknown’s Battleground exclusively for Xbox consoles. The game will be Xbox One X enhanced with 4K resolution and HDR.
Chang Han Kim, VP of Bluehole, Inc and PUBG’s Executive producer, describes the game as: The game’s premise is simple, you are put into an island with 99 other strangers who compete with each other to scavenge for weapons and items in order to become the last man standing. The game mechanics are simple and intuitive, which made our game easy to dive into and fun to watch.
Bluehole will continue evolving PUBG with community feedback. The game releases late this year exclusively on Xbox One.
