The game is to be called Marvel The Avenger’s Videogame, and will be developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. The tweet mentions the official time and date for reveal as 6PM PT and June 10. An E3 panel mentions more details about the game. According to the panel, the game is an action-adventure game that “combines cinematic storytelling with continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay”. From the details, it seems that each session allows upto four players in coop, and has quite some options for customization. The game is also playable in solo, as is evident from the words. The description might have been too much of a giveaway, since it has been removed.
Here’s to hoping that the game also has a multiplayer mode, and it is titled “Civil War”.
Cheers, PC Gamer.
