After dropping the teaser trailer almost 7 years ago, we finally have a release date for Cyberpunk 2077. The game got a new trailer at E3 2019 and fans had a lot to gush about. Be it the announcement of the game’s release date or the new trailer, or, how can we forget, Keanu Reeves involvement in the game, CD Projekt Red made sure that they stole all the limelight with Cyberpunk 2077 in this year’s E3. The game also went up for pre-order across a number of platforms, and as expected, fans didn’t hesitate a bit to swipe their cards and hit that pre-order button. Like most AAAs, Cyberpunk 2077 also has a collector’s edition. While the Collector’s Edition is available easily abroad, the situation in India is not so good for fans out there. Here is all you need to know about buying Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition in India.

Let’s speak of the PS4 edition. Starting with the good news, Cyberpunk 2077 will get a Collector’s Edition in India on the PS4 platform. Coming to the bad part, Games The Shop is the only outlet selling the Collector’s Edition, and they ran out of stock within a day. Despite the hefty 20k INR price-tag, it didn’t take long for the game to go out of stock. There is no information on whether it will be back on stock or not, but even if it comes back on stock, be prepared to regret beforehand since it’ll likely go out of stock again in a jiffy.

Speaking of the Xbox One and PC Collector’s Edition, neither of them are coming to India, as of now. Games The Shop, which is the retail outlet of e xpress Interactive, the official distributor of CD Projekt Red in India, don’t even have the listing for the Collector’s Edition of the Xbox One & PC versions of the game on their website. We reached out to e xpress Interactive for a comment, and they claim to have “no information” about whether it’ll hit the shelves in India. Being very optimistic, we can assume that it will likely be not available in India.

While this might be disappointing news for many, this is not something new in the Indian scene. Earlier we witnessed the Collector’s Edition of Spiderman PS4 showing up almost 2 months after the release date. The only good aspect, in that case, was that at least it showed up, while here we have no certainty about it. Importing the collectibles is your best if you are an avid fan but given the hype around the game, be ready to pay a hefty premium for it.
