E3, Gamescon and PAX. 3 names every gamer wants to add to his “Visited List”. Hopefully soon there will be another. IGX, or Indian Gaming Expo is set to come to the streets of Mumbai this November.
The first of its kind in India, IGX is being touted as the first consumer games expo happening in India where gamers can come in, for free, and check out the latest games and gaming hardware the industry currently has to offer.
Things have been looking up for the Indian gamer recently. What with all the e-Sports competitions and the midnight launches that India has seen in the past few years. IGX looks to be another solid addition to that list.
Both IGN India and GamingBolt have been announced as sponsors of the event. Also my friends over at AsidCast have been announced as their web partners. So I think we are in good hands. We also know that the event is happening in November in Mumbai; so you better keep your calendars uncluttered. Gamers there will also be able to get their hands on games like:
- Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Mad Max
- Mortal Kombat X from Warner Bros.
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2016
The official site of IGX is basically a “Coming Soon” page, and the twitter handle has not made any tweets at the time this article was written. So there is loads we don’t know about the Expo as of yet (like the exact dates, and venue..Duh!!!). But we are sure to get some more announcement and information about the event in the coming days.
