This week is a slightly disappointing one for Epic free game hoarders like myself, as only a single free game – Hue – is available.
Conan Exiles was initially announced to be the other free game this week but for undisclosed reasons, it was taken out of the free game rotation at the last second. Neither Epic themselves nor developer Funcom have yet provided any explanation for this decision.
The Epic Games Store team has decided that Conan Exiles will not be free, but will be available for purchase on the store at a later date.

Regardless, you can grab Hue, a 2D puzzle adventure by developer Fiddle Sticks and publisher Curve Digital for free right now. In this vibrant, award-winning title, players alter the environment by using a color wheel to change the background color.
In terms of its narrative, Hue promises a heartfelt story about finding your missing mother that touches on themes of love, loss, existence, and remorse. The bright, bold colors are striking and it offers 30 original music tracks to listen to, and voice-narration as well. Featuring full colorblind support too, you literally have no excuse to not try Hue out, unless you’re straight-up fully blind I suppose (or just don’t feel like it, that’s okay too, you do you, man).
However, Epic promises to make up for this impromptu removal of Conan Exiles by giving away 3 games for free next week: the popular zombie survival shooter Killing Floor 2, sci-fi action-adventure Lifeless Planet, and Team 17’s co-op prison escape simulator The Escapists 2.
Hue is free to claim on the Epic Games Store until July 9 at 8:30 pm IST, so grab it before then.
