Just now through an IGN livestream IO Interactive has officially revealed the next entry in the Hitman stealth shooter franchise – Hitman 2.
Hitman 2 is a direct sequel to 2016’s episodic Hitman game. The studio has claimed that the sequel will perfect the sandbox assassination gameplay introduced in the last game. You’re going to travel the world, visit exotic locations and assassinate targets in creative ways as per the series tradition. And most importantly, unlike the first game, it won’t be an episodic one.
“HITMAN 2 introduces new ways to play, new game modes and new features, including the new Sniper Assassin mode with franchise first co-op play”, according to the game’s Steam page.
The trailer shows Agent 47 sabotaging a high octane Formula 1 race in Miami through a bunch of creative ways.
Hitman 2 will pick up where the last ones left off and will focus on Diana Burnwood and the shadow client. It will showcase Agent 47’s past through the views of different characters.

You can find the minimum and recommended system requirements on Steam here. Players can also pre-order the game on Steam which will grant you an instant access to the stand-alone online co-op mode Hitman: Sniper Assasin. It can be played online with a friend to take down the targets or you can play it in a single player mode as Agent 47.

HITMAN 2 is scheduled for a November 13, 2018 release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
