The Nexus welcomes another champion to the large roster of characters spanning across Warcraft, Starcraft and Overwatch. With a series of new powers, King Anduin Wrynn of Stormwind is ready to fight in his father’s name and for the victory of the Alliance in the never-ending battle raging on in the Nexus.
Anduin Wrynn, King of Stormwind, has entered the Nexus to take his place by his warrior father’s side in the unending battle to maintain order and balance among the realms. With Fearbreaker by his side, Anduin is a Ranged Healer who comes with an arsenal of abilities aimed at keeping his teammates alive, but also has the potential to unleash the Light’s swift justice to enemies on the battlefield.
Anduin has the power to support allied heroes with Flash Heal and Leap of Faith – Leap of Faith being an useful evasive maneuver in a heavy firefight. Divine Star and Chastise allow Anduin to channel the Light’s holy strength to damage the enemies of the Alliance, and Divine Star even heals nearby heroes. In case things go wrong, Anduin can call upon the Light’s strength using his Salvation ability to fight for him, healing allied heroes and protecting them from enemies. His Lightbomb ability enables him to take out strong enemies by overloading an allied hero with the Light – which, on exploding, deals massive damage to all enemies in the area.
Despite dropping support for official esports events, it is heartening to see that work is still going on for providing players with new content over time.
