Seemingly to compensate for pulling Conan Exiles out of the free game rotation last week, Epic is offering 3 games for free this week, and they’re pretty good ones too: Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet: Premier Edition, and The Escapists 2.

All of them are available to claim until July 16 (8:30 PM IST to be precise), so make sure to grab them by then. Not familiar with these titles? Read on, we got you.

Killing Floor 2 is a fun 6-player co-op zombie FPS developed and published by Tripwire Interactive in 2016. Looking to spend the weekend mowing through thousands of zombies with some pals? This is the game for you. In a more competitive state of mind wanting to kick your friends’ ass? There’s a 12 player PvP mode for that. Like pretending to be a badass lone wolf kinda guy? You can play solo too!
Featuring a multitude of varied playable characters, an array of melee as well as ranged weapons, an extensive perks system and more, it’s a great title to delve into for a fun time with some friends.

Lifeless Planet Premier Edition is an action-adventure sci-fi game developed and published by Serenity Forge, in which you get to explore and investigate an abandoned Russian town on a distant planet. Inspired by Cold War-era science fiction stories, this atmospheric title poses questions about humankind’s desire for space travel, and what it is that motivates someone to leave behind everything and everyone they’ve known and loved to explore oblivion.
With 20 unique and atmospheric environments and an intriguing story, Lifeless Planet offers a pretty short, chill experience, focused more on exploration and environmental story-telling than gameplay mechanics.

In contrast, The Escapists 2 is heavily gameplay-focused, and is the second free co-op title this week, developed and published by Team 17. As the title implies, you are tasked with figuring out a way to bust out of prison! It’s the ultimate prison sandbox game, and features 4-player co-op, 11 prisons to beat as well as a versus mode where you have to break out of prison before your opponents do.
The top-down perspective and the pixel art style makes the game easy on the eyes too, and the fun sense of humor that emanates promises a grand old time with friends.

So those are this week’s freebies, and again, make sure to claim them before the 16th! Next week’s freebie was also revealed, it’s Torchlight 2! We’ll remind you when it’s available so until then, you can focus on getting a group of friends together and plan out some co-op sessions. That’s always a challenge so… Good luck with that!
