Bethesda is giving away Quake I, II, and III on the Bethesda Launcher owing to the overwhelming response by fans to the charity event they hosted during QuakeCon At Home 2020. Over $20k donations were made to organizations like Direct Relief, UNICEF, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and the Trevor Project.
🎉🎉🎉 YOU did it! We reached $20k in donations to charity thanks to you! Quake III will now be free in the https://t.co/R4vSjdDRMu Launcher following #QuakeCon at Home.

All you need to do is login to the Bethesda launcher – all three games will be added to your account after the QuakeCon event ends.
Gamers can also unlock all 16 characters in Quake Champions for free by completing one multiplayer game during the event. Launched back in 2017, this F2P arena-style competitive multiplayer has received regular updates, but has been slow in attracting players.
During the event, we got a first look at the teaser trailer of the upcoming DLC for Doom Eternal – The Ancient Gods. The full trailer reveal will happen at Gamescom on August 27.
The 25th anniversary of the QuakeCon event in 2020 was entirely online this year – it started from August 7 and is going to end on August 9 at 7 pm PT/10 ET. This year has been chock-a-block with exciting livestream content from around the world. Check out Bethesda’s Twitch schedule down below:
