During Google’s I/O 2016, they’ve announced that they’re including Steam-like Early Access feature to its Play Store to make “open beta tests easier to find and participate in”.
Apps that are available only as open betas and aren’t in production yet will soon appear in Play search results. Users will be able to opt-in from Play Store listings directly and will also be able to send developers feedback privately through Play Store listing. And as mentioned before, they’re also be adding a new featured section to the store, called Google Play Early Access, showcasing a hand picked group of open betas as that haven’t done to production yet
