With the recent unveiling of the new Ghostbusters movie, which boasts of an all female cast, Activision has also announced a tie-in game, called…wait for it…’Ghostbusters‘.
You won’t be playing as the main cast in the game though. The game will put you in the shoes of newly recruited Ghostbusters. With each rookie boasting of a personality/play-style of his/her own, the game aims to nudge you towards team-work with its 4 player co-op. The main aim from what we can fathom from the trailer is that you need to collect specters from around the city. Do let us know in the comments if you spot something else.
Ghostbusters will be launching on Steam Xbox Live and PSN on July 15th 2016.
Available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC; Ghostbusters looks very Diablo-esque, which I can’t judge until when I actually play it, but it does arcadey enough for me and my brother to enjoy. What are your thoughts on the trailer, the idea of a new Ghostbuster game, and the all-female cast of Ghostbusters. Let us know all this and more in comments below.
