NetherWorld Launches September 12th – As Revealed at the Future Games Show

Indian Game Publishers and Developers Association (IGPDA) Formed to Support India’s Online Gaming Bill to Lead a New Gaming Renaissance

Dark Light

At the Future Games Show: Best of gamescom 2025, Paris-based studio Opus Major unveiled a new musical gameplay trailer for The world of MAJJAM is in danger. An evil force, Kodé, is slowly spreading its deadly and silent grip. To protect their world and save their lands, players must unite and face the dangers and challenges that threaten the universe.

Their weapon? Music.

MAJJAM is not a rhythm game, and no musical skill is required to play. As the heroes use their powers to explore and defend the world, each interaction generates melodies and rhythms in real time. The game’s technology auto-harmonizes all player performances, online and with no apparent latency.

Each note played is a spark, each harmony rediscovered is a glimmer in the darkness. Because in this story, music is not just entertainment: it is the force of the world. A weapon. The light that drives back the darkness.

Hero jam cards offer a system of musical abilities that players can unlock, collect, and keep throughout their adventure. Each ability has a specific power that further expands the range of skills available to players, allowing them to influence and explore their environment.

Created by a team of developers with their own musical talents and inspired by their own jam sessions, MAJJAM is an ode to the collective power of music and video games!
