Fortnite will be celebrating its birthday on July 24! To celebrate, players will be getting a slew of bonuses as part of an in-game event. This include special birthday cosmetics that can only be earned via special challenges to unstable husks carrying a tasty surprise – there’s something for everyone!
Special birthday challenges will be available for the duration of the event. Completion of the objectives grants special cosmetics. Play just 14 matches, win or lose, to net yourself a 5000 XP boost, deal 1000 damage to opponents to earn a special Fortnite birthday emoticon, and dance in front of special birthday cakes placed at several points on the map to win the Happy Birthday spray. Complete all three of them, and earn a Birthday Cake bling as a token for your perseverance.
Complete the Fortnite Birthday questline in Save the World and earn the Birthday Brigade Ramirez Hero. Earn tickets to spend on Birthday Llamas which can contain Heroes and weapons from every event this year (not including quest rewards).
The event will last from July 24 to August 7, so be sure to jump in and find something exciting to do – or, at least, admire the festive decorations!
