e-xpress Interactive Software Pvt Ltd, India’s leading video games distributor received an overwhelming response at India Games Expo (IGX), concluded yesterday at World Trade Centre in Mumbai. e-xpress who was also the gold partner for IGX, witnessed gaming enthusiasts flocking in large numbers to only have come for all things – Gaming.
e-xpress booth offered an exclusive hands on access to Ubisoft’s ‘For Honor’ ahead of its release. Gamers were all excited to try out the game as it was only available at express booth at IGX. Consumers also enjoyed playing their favorite games like NBA 2K17, Mafia III, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Injustice, Rise of the Tomb Raider and many others. Interactive activities like Q&A contests etc. also took place at the booth, where gamers got a chance to win official game merchandise and take home freebies.
e-xpress among few was one of the biggest organizer for holding three competitive tournaments for WWE 2K17, PES 2017 & Mortal Kombat XL at IGX. People enjoyed watching the tournaments on the main stage, as it stood to be the major attraction at the booth. Also, there were participants who came from various parts of the city like Pune, Gwalior, & Chennai to take part in the tournaments.
Felicitation of the winners was done by Mr. Anand Khemani, CEO, of e-xpress Interactive & Mr Amit Khemani, Director, e-xpress Interactive & Games The Shop on Day 2 of IGX.
Dennis Shah, was announced as the winner of Mortal Kombat XL tournament followed by Raghavendran Ravi as the 1st Runner up while Avinash Sharma who stood as the 2nd Runner up.
Winners were also announced for the cut throat competition held for the WWE 2K17 tournament, where Manan Sanghvi was declared as the winner, followed by Siddharth Thampi as 1st Runner up and Pranav Bimbhat as 2nd Runner up.
Finally, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 tournament’s winner was Ankur Diwakar, Yahya Mamdani was the 1st Runner up and Moin Amdani was announced as the 2nd Runner up.
Like last year, IGX and e-xpress proved how much of a game loving nation India is, and how many people are into or are getting into video games. The success of e-xpress and IGX are a welcome sign of the ever increasing Indian Gaming Scene as it become more prominent over time.
