With the ESL India Summer Premiership coming to an end, the first batch of roster shuffles has already begun. Entity Gaming, one of the country’s leading esports organizations, announced changes to its standing roster.

The squad will be bidding good bye to Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik, who has secured a spot in the OpTic India roster. The squad will also be moving Simar ‘Psy’ Sethi to inactivity. Psy is suffering from Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), which occurred due to a hand injury in 2017. Despite his wrist injury, psy’s dedication to the game helped Entity secure the first place in the ESL India Winter Finale in 2017 and second place in the ESL India Summer Finale in 2018. Until his hand heals properly, psy will be focusing more “player meetups, special coaching sessions and maybe even an Indian idol appearance”, to “allow his out of game skills to flourish”.

The squad will be signing Karan ‘Excali’ Mhaswadkar and Ishpreet ‘HuNtr’ Singh from Team Invictus, the winners of the ESL India Summer Finale (2018).

With Bharath ‘ribbiz’ Reddy announcing his retirement, and with Excali and HuNtr moving on to Entity Gaming, Invictus only has two players in their active roster. What happens to them in the upcoming ESL India Fall Premiership, remains to be seen.
