Koei Tecmo Europe today announces Dynasty Warriors 9. The brand new part of the celebrated Warriors series by developer Omega Force, will be released for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. The new pictures take a look at the historical China with its wide landscapes. In addition to the breathtaking wilderness, new characters are presented.
Players can spend countless hours in Dynasty Warriors 9 next to the main story to admire the natural wonders of China. From the bamboo forests of Chengdu to the legendary Great Wall, in the never ending war numerous places of interest are visited. Whether in small battles, the armaments of the armies, or special secondary tasks, Dynasty Warriors 9 offers a variety of varied activities during the journey through the endless expanse of the empire. The missions that the players deny include scouting, guerilla, or sabotage maneuvers. Depending on the performance of the players in these quests, the difficulty of future battles will change.
In order to further expand the decision-making possibilities for the players, Koei Tecmo introduces two brand-new characters into the series. Man Chong from the Kingdom of Wei is a brilliant strategist and general. On the other side is Zhou Cang, who represents the kingdom of Shu. A fighter who is admired and feared by his strength and speed. Both join an already powerful squad of heroes and fan favorites, providing an even more varied package. These include fan favorites such as Sun Shangxiang, Lu Xun, and the powerful demon god, Lu Bu in new costumes.
