After the tremendous success of Dragon Quest XI, publisher Square Enix has announced a new Expansion for their popular fantasy MMO game Dragon Quest X at the Dragon Quest Fest 2017 in Tokyo. The new game which has been translated to Dragon Quest X: 5,000 Year Journey to a Faraway Hometown Online is due for release in Japan on the 16th of November on the PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and the Wii-U for a small amount of 3,800 yen.

Square Enix has also added that their new virtual card fight game, named Dragon Quest Rivals which will be available in Japan within the span of this year. They have also stated that the digital copies for Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II will be available for the PS4 and 3DS in Japan on 10th August for 600 and 850 yen respectively. Dragon Quest III will also be available later this month for 1,500 yen.
