A new Dragon Age game is officially in development. The game’s existence was confirmed by BioWare employee Mark Darrah,who is also the executive producer on upcoming BioWare game Anthem earlier today.
Darrah, who is the executive producer of the entire Dragon Age franchise, tweeted this afternoon confirming that a new Dragon Age game is in development. The announcement isn’t exactly official, but is the first concrete announcement that a new Dragon Age game is definitely in development.
Fan have been eager for a new game in the series ever since the release of Dragon Age : Inquisition a few years ago. After the colossal failure of Mass Effect : Andromeda, it is left to be seen whether EA will hand the development over to the core Bioware studio or one of its subsidiaries.
