Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is my most anticipated game of the year and it made sense to make a System Requirement Overview of the game. From the beginning, Deus Ex has been a franchise built on PC and Square Enix are maintaining that with the this installment being built ground up for the PCs and porting the game to consoles and in a day when many developers neglect the PC port and we have to be Sherlock to be able to tell the difference between the PC versions and console versions, it is nice to see a developer putting effort in the PC side just the way it deserves. Now getting to the system requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
CPU- Intel Core i3-2100Kor AMD equivalent
GPU- Nvidia GTX 660/ AMD Radeon HD 7870
RAM- 8 GB
Storage- 45 GB
OK first of all, if you are the kind of guy who follows system requirements a lot, you’ll immediately realize that the game has almost the same minimum requirements as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As for the system requirements, it is actually fairly low for this year, because these days a GTX 750Ti is a common GPU which almost performs equal to the GTX 660 with 3-15 FPS difference in many games. It is good to see that the minimum GPU requirement for both Nvdia and AMD have almost the same raw power, indicates that the game might be highly optimized. At lower resolutions any GPU with a DDR5 type RAM will be able to handle the game. Maybe the GT 840 and GT 940 will be able to handle the lowest settings, but nothing less than that, unless you want to tweak the .ini settings and make textures disappear all together. The CPU, storage and RAM requirements are pretty standard these days. A newer i3 will perform almost at the same level as the i5-2500K.
Update:
The official system requirements state an i3-2100 hundred which is quite a low end CPU, hence you’ll probably be able to play this game on any modern computer till you have the required GPU.
Recommended Requirements:
CPU- Intel i7 3770 3,4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
GPU- Nvidia GTX 970/ AMD Radeon RX 480
RAM- 8 GB
Storage- 55 GB
The recommended requirements are fairly moderate and are not sky high, but something that we have come to expect in this generation of consoles. Can’t say much about the recommended specs, we’ll have to wait and see.
I am excited for the game and am also hoping that the developers optimize the PC port. And please try not to pirate this game. Adios Amigos.
Are these the official requirements? I haven’t seen Eidos release them yet…
same.
I found it on Game Debate (And since the release date is just 2 weeks now I thought that if anything gets updated, I’ll also update the article when the official System Requirements show up):
