Sony dropped a gameplay trailer of Demon’s Souls at the PlayStation 5 showcase. The game is a complete remake of 2009’s PS3 game of the same name by FromSoftware. Demon’s Souls is being developed by Bluepoint Games and SIE Japan Studio, priced at $69.99 | £69.99, and will launch on November 12, along with the much-awaited PS5 console. The studio had previously worked on the PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus. The new trailer shows a snippet of the journey leading to the first boss-fight, the demon Vanguard. The game is set in the mysterious fog-enveloped kingdom of Boletaria, whose terrifying resident monsters add challenges and tension to the rich and dark story. The trailer during the presentation had said that the game would be available on PC, but the information was rescinded soon after. In an official announcement, Sony said “the incorrect text was a result of human error” and “Demon’s Souls is exclusive to PlayStation 5”.
