According to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), The Witcher developers CD Projekt Red has just trademarked their upcoming sci-fi RPG game, Cyberpunk 2077, in the European region.
Eventually, E3 happens to be just around the corner and CD Projekt Red already confirmed that they’ll be present on the showfloor. The studio was also listed on the event’s website under the “RPG” category (via GameSpot) which indicates the possibility that the studio might finally be unveiling their highly anticipated RPG to the public.
The trademark isn’t just the only thing that lends some credence to a potential E3 reveal. Earlier this year, the game’s official Twitter handle tweeted a “*beep*” after four years of dead-silence. And, the aforementioned listing on E3’s website got removed which is enough for anyone to deduce for what’s to come next.
