Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 players have plenty to look forward to as Activision prepares the game’s next mid-season update.Alongside a fresh batch of unlockable rewards, the publisher has confirmed a limited-time free trial for Multiplayer and Zombies, giving non-owners a chance to check out some of the game’s newest content without spending a dime.
The free access period will include the recently added Zenith and Launch multiplayer maps, as well as Kowakujō, Black Ops 7’s latest Round-Based Zombies experience. Activision hasn’t announced exact dates yet, but says more information is coming soon.
For active players, the update also brings another wave of earnable rewards. Loadout items, Weapon Camos, Double XP Tokens, and additional bonuses will be available through upcoming events and seasonal activities, continuing the steady stream of progression content that has defined Black Ops 7’s post-launch support.
On the cosmetic front, the in-game Store is getting several new additions throughout the mid-season cycle. Activision confirmed that new Ultra, Reactive, and Mastercraft bundles are on the way, with the Tracer Pack: Ironclad Mastercraft Bundle among the headline releases.

The bundle includes the “Chronovox” Mastercraft Blueprint for the AN-94 Assault Rifle, one of the newer weapons added to Black Ops 7’s arsenal. Mastercraft blueprints have traditionally been some of Call of Duty’s most elaborate cosmetic offerings, often featuring unique inspection animations, visual effects, and themed weapon designs.
Outside the game itself, Activision also took a moment to celebrate the latest Call of Duty Endowment competition. British Army Esports emerged victorious at C.O.D.E. Bowl VII during San Diego Race Weekend, securing the tournament trophy after a strong showing throughout the event. Gibbo was awarded the Monster Energy MVP ring, while TeeP picked up USAA’s Solo Yolo award for the second time.
