Just announced at today’s Xbox Games Showcase, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
This new Call of Duty experience will take players to the year 2035 with the most mind-bending Black Ops story to date. This first-ever consecutive release within the popular Black Ops series, Black Ops 7, takes place more than 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6. With the world in peril and on the brink of chaos, David Mason and his team are tasked with fighting back against a manipulative enemy who weaponises fear above all else.
In Black Ops 7, players can team up with friends, enlist the help of these Call of Duty coaches, or go solo in an exciting new Co-op Campaign. From brand-new multiplayer maps to near-future weaponry, and the next twisted chapter of Round-Based Zombies set deep in the Dark Aether, there’s a lot to master, and even more to survive.
Right after Black Ops 6, which had a mixed reaction after a while for the game was still praised for the omnimovement, which made the multiplayer experience much faster and exciting. Utilising the power of the PS5 and Series X, going all in with the extra FPS made the game much more special. The zombies mode was nothing new and continued to be a staple for long-time fans. The campaign itself was fairly good for COD standards, but fans were left longing for something more impactful.
But with Black Ops 7, fans are even more sceptical about what was shown in the trailer. It’s mostly a goofy mess with a lot of familiar faces. Don’t believe us? Check out the Black Ops 7 reveal Official Teaser here.
