Call of Cthulhu, developed by Cyanide and published by Focus Home Interactive has received a release date of October 30, 2018.
Although the publishers haven’t released any official confirmation, the Steam store says that the game will launch just a day prior to Halloween. Call of Cthulhu is the official videogame inspired by Chaosium’s classic pen and paper RPG, which is in turn based on H.P Lovecraft’s works on cosmic horror, collectively known as Cthulhu mythos.
The story is set in 1924 and follows Private Investigator Pierce, as he is sent to look into the tragic death of the Hawkins family on the isolated Darkwater Island. Soon enough, Pierce is pulled into a terrifying world of conspiracies, cultists, and cosmic horrors. The game has you shift between sanity and psychosis as you question everything and everyone around you.
